Creativity has always been at the heart of my existance.

SOUND
With music it began at age 9 when I started playing guitar. In the following years I would take up the bass guitar, drums, saxophone, keyboards and synthesizers and play in a number of bands. In the early 90's I was exposed to the underground electronic music scene in Detroit and the pulsating beats of techno, house and everything imbetween got under my skin. Since then DJing and dance music production have become another passionate means of expression for me.

DESIGN
With Design it began as a kid with my interest in skateboarding. I was enamored with the logos of the various companies and the different patterns and designs they would put on their boards. I would trace and re-draw them for hours on end. From there it moved on to band logos, posters and flyer designs. In High School I was adament that I design my own bedroom when we moved. In Film School I realized I was far more interested in setting up the shot than shooting it, and soon after a friend loaned me a book on Charles & Ray Eames. That was it. With my strong technical background, an affinity for working with my hands, a love for problem solving and a keen eye for aesthetics I knew that design, of all types, was something I wanted to be involved in.

WORDS
With strong passions and interests come new insight and strong opinions. I'm never one to shy away from sharing my thoughts and I am always looking for the next best thing to share with my clients, friends and foes. My interest in writing has been with me throughout my life and is therapy for me. I don't really care if anyone reads, I just enjoy writing it.
